Williams Receives Awards, Recognition

2007-2008 marked an exciting time for Madison Retail, LLC, its confederated companies, and its parent company, Williams Realty Advisers, as Williams founder and CEO John Williams received several prestigious awards recognizing his positive contributions to the economic landscape in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast, as well as his integrity and philanthropic vision.

In the summer of 2007, the Council for Quality Growth granted Mr. Williams the “Four Pillars Award,” which celebrates the honoree’s contributions to Atlanta’s economic development and quality of life.

Commenting on Mr. Williams’ receipt of the Four Pillars Awards, Council for Quality Growth co-chair David Connell (Georgia Power) said: “This year’s honoree is yet another excellent choice. [Mr. Williams] is an individual that embodies every quality—Quality, Responsibility, Vision, Integrity—that this award represents.”

Mr. Williams’ receipt of the Four Pillars Award was celebrated at the Cobb Energy Center, a venue Mr. Williams himself helped to envision, create, and financially support.

The following year, (2008), Mr. Williams was inducted into the Georgia Institute of Technology’s alumni Hall of Fame, as well as the Georgia State University Business Hall of Fame, for his outstanding and notable history as an Atlanta real estate entrepreneur.

Madison Retail congratulates Mr. Williams for the recent recognition of his many successes and achievements.
